sunlover41 Posted May 13, 2006 #1 Share Posted May 13, 2006 I usually travel in the eastern Carribean in February and usually enjoy the weather. Its usually cool when we leave Florida but then it warms up as the week goes by. Whats the weather like in Mexico in February? I'm thinking about taking a cruise leaving from San Diego but want to make sure the weather is as warm as the Carribean. Can someone advise? Thanks! Any other information would be appreciated also. cozgal Posted May 13, 2006 #2 Share Posted May 13, 2006 Not sure what part of Mexico you are considering .We have been in Cozumel in February and found the weather very nice and dry during the day...sometimes needed a sweater at night. Coming from NY in February, anything warmer was great by us!
caribbean dreams Posted May 15, 2006 #3 Share Posted May 15, 2006 being that you want to leave out of San Diego, i will assume you are talking about a mexican Riviera cruise, The weather will be very nice in Feb, not quite as warm as the Caribbean, but still nice. if you are talking about a small baja cruise, the weather will be a little cool. jakedoc Posted May 16, 2006 #4 Share Posted May 16, 2006 We did a 10 day cruise on Celebrity Mercury this past February. 1 st day out and last full day back too cool to enjoy the deck pools(we're used to cold water in Wisconsin). We went to Cabo San Lucas, Mazatlan, Alculpulco, Ixtapa and Puerto Vallarta. Ocean was cold in Cabo and Mazatlan. Ocean warm enough to swim in other ports but surf made it difficult. Snorkeling wasn't near as good as Carribean. We still had lots of fun.
