Do you remember? Also, how to you get to the Boatyard in Barbados, by taxi?:o Thanks for helping so much!
serene56 Posted May 20, 2006 #27 Share Posted May 20, 2006 We took the Safari. THe limo tour is a private tour. (wonder how much that will cost) The safari tour holds about 25 people. Barbados we are taking a tour using glorytours.org Dominica - there are two guides that come highly recommended. Reyno and Beno. Aruba there are a few tours available. We booked abctours. bychance Posted May 20, 2006 #28 Share Posted May 20, 2006 My family of four is going on our first cruise on June 25 on Destiny to the Southern Caribbean. We need advice on all levels! The kids are teenagers 14 and nearly 17. Can the 14 year old get into the Club O2 program they advertise for 15-17 year olds? They want to stick together at least at first. Good excursion ideas? Also we have an aft balcony room on Upper Deck...good or bad idea? Hey cruisers any advice will work, we're real novices! Anyone else going with teenagers on this cruise? We sailed the Valor over Thankgiving with our 12 and 14 YO, he was able to participate in all the 02 activities no one ever asked him his age. The day we got off our cruise they both wanted to know when we were going again! The first day or two they were alittle shy but after that we didnt see much of them for the rest of the cruise! Have fun!
loowho Posted May 29, 2006 Author #29 Share Posted May 29, 2006 We decided to rent a vehicle in Aruba on our trip and want to do it online. We looked at the website recommended on this thread and noticed they have lots of vehicles to choose from. Is a jeep a better car for the roads? OR is it just personal preference? Thanks! pholter Posted May 29, 2006 #30 Share Posted May 29, 2006 Jeep is much better for the 4-wheeling you'll most likely be doing on the opposite coast starting just after the California Lighthouse. It also came in handy for us getting to Baby Beach.
