I am meeting some friends for brunch at River Cafe. Reservation at 12:30.

 

Flight from JFK at 6:15 PM.

 

I presume luggage will go to hospitality suite somewhere nearby in Brooklyn.

 

Any problems with the timing?

The timing is ok but you will have plenty of wait time.

I don't think they will keep the luggage for you. I am also sure that the River Cafe has a cloak room you can put the luggage into. You will have plenty of time. You are 10 minutes from the cruise terminal to the River Cafe but I don't think it opens much before 11:00 am. You should assume that it will take an hour to get from the River Cafe to Kennedy and I am sure they will call a car service for you and cabs will be dropping people off.

Thanks, I should have mentioned that I have a Cunard transfer to JFK for 6:15 flight...I just can't find information re bags, and time for tranfer to the airport.

I don't believe They will wait for you-they will expect you to get on the bus and take you to the airport and have you wait there. You'll need to do this on your own. Cancel the transfer. It will be a snap. A cab or car service will take you to the River Cafe. and then take a car service or a cab to the airport. The local car service is Promenade Car service in Brooklyn Heights... call them and they will make the arrangements for both for you.
