Cingular usage on Majesty

We enabled the $5.99 a month roamimg package for one of our cell phones for our 4 day Majesty cruise. This gave us a $1.99 per minute roaming fee. We only used a total of 9 minutes (DH's Dad scheduled his back surgery during our cruise) checking in. We were charged the $1.99 a minute while we used our phone, from our stateroom, the night we were in Nassau and then only charged $1.69 a minute, from our stateroom, while in Key West. I am betting on this one that if my husband had waited until we were on shore, we would have used our normal coverage since there is Cingular coverage in Key West and not used the ships "tower". Overall, I was pleased on how the service worked.
