Wedding on VOS

I just booked a cruise on VOS for Feb. 3, 2008. I am going to get married on this cruise, but have not yet called them to set it up. Has anyone gotten married on this ship and if so do they give a little on the payment of the wedding. In other words has anyone ever had a little time paying it off instead of a full payment when they booked there wedding. Also do they pretty much cater to your needs or does it go by what the it says on the internet? Do you have to have it in the chapel or are there other places on the ship you can have the wedding if you ask? Also if you are wanting like a candle lit wedding are they willing to comply? Any suggestion please let me know. I am wanting what I want, not what they state on the website.

I got married on the Voyager of the Seas in October it was perfect!!! However they people at Royal romance will only let you do so much I don't think you have a prayer for candles on the ship. As for where you get married there are lots of places they use for weddings they tried to put us in Cleopatra's and we wanted the chapel after much arguing back and forth with them they finally gave it to me. They will only want a deposit for the wedding you will have plenty of time for payments. Also they will send you an updated invoice anytime you ask for it. The internet has alot of the stuff on it but what you really need to do is call them and they will send you a full description of everything you can have and how much it will cost. I will also tell you until they have your deposit you are not guaranteed the wedding they will only do 2 weddings so you need to reserve your place now. If you have any other questions I would be happy to answer them for you.

They did not give me the option to pay out the wedding package. They say it had to be paid in full. I would be curious to know how well they do special order upgrades on flowers.

I also did not have the option of a payment plan. I was told it had to be paid in full. Also, I don't think you can change many things, i think these types of weddings are for those who aren't set into one thing or another. YOu should call and ask them your specific questions. Good luck!
