pholter Posted June 26, 2004 #2 Share Posted June 26, 2004 Basically, it's priority boarding for folks who have booked a Category 11 or 12 Suite. There is a special room to check documents and you're "supposed" to be put at the front of any other line you have to wait in. It worked great for us in Miami, but we've only booked a balcony out of San Juan since the embarkation timing is about 10 hours long- more scattered arrivals. sls Posted June 27, 2004 #3 Share Posted June 27, 2004 We did it in Tampa. You get to sit down at a desk there to fill out paperwork. Then we were given an early boarding number and went through with the first group. After you're on board it doesn't do anything. Doesn't get you priority getting off. sls Destiny 12/2004 Sensation 5/2004 Holiday 1/2004 Conquest 11/2003
yoray Posted June 27, 2004 #4 Share Posted June 27, 2004 It sounds better than it is...But, priority boarding can be a big help in certain situations. .
CoachTerry14 Posted June 27, 2004 #5 Share Posted June 27, 2004 I have used the Skippers Club in 4 different ports (New Orleans, Port Canaveral, Tampa, & Miami) and seven different cruises (Not aware of it on my first cruise in 1993). It is not priority boarding, but priority check-in.
