Taken from a news item today (19th May) posted on NCL's website

"Norwegian Sun, will replace Norwegian Wind sailing 10- and 11-day itineraries from Honolulu with a stop at Fanning Island beginning in September 2007. This newer, larger ship, launched in 2001, will take over and grow NCL’s 10- and 11-day Hawai`i trade when Norwegian Wind is transferred to the Star Cruises fleet in late April 2007."

I don't know if anyone has posted this link, but on Star Cruises website, they announced today what we all have heard rumor and speculation about the Wind.

She'll join Star cruises in Spring 2007 as the Superstar Aquarius.

If this was posted earlier (I couldn't find it) I appologize.

I think the Dream will be the last of the four small NCL ships to be transfered out since she is the only one that can do the Kiel Canal.

We now know the Wind is next to leave in summer 2007. Look for the Majesty and Crown to follow before the Dream.
