OSUcruiser Posted June 27, 2004 #1 Share Posted June 27, 2004 We have a bunch of people who would like to cruise together. Does CCL offer breaks for groups and how many people does it take? We have at least 20 people right now. ANy other group info would be helpful. I just got off the Glory today and already trying to book the next one!! Thanks!! serene56 Posted June 27, 2004 #2 Share Posted June 27, 2004 To get a group rate you need to book at least 8 cabins. Most online agencies have group rates. Make sure your agent specializes in cruise groups to make sure you get the best bang for your buck. Try putting together a group using Crucon so you can advertise here. They offer the best amenities I have ever seen.
Snowball Posted June 27, 2004 #3 Share Posted June 27, 2004 Carnival does offer special amentities for group bookings. The amenities vary for each ship and sailing date. You have several options on how to create your group booking. You can: Join an existing cruise critic group - here is a link that lists all of the current groups. http://www.cruisecritic.com/interests/groupcruise.cfm Cruise critic groups have very competitive pricing and great amenities. If you are interested in sailing on the Carnival Valor next year, you should consider booking with the Valor Voyagers - we are accepting deposits of $25pp for everyone that books by Friday, July 2nd. You can contact Laura Sterling and create your own group. Here is information on how to start an official cruise critic group. http://www.cruisecritic.com/interests/groupleader.cfm By creating an official cc group, you will be allowed to advertise your group on the site in order to get more people to join your group. You can go on your own and book as a group with a t/a of your choice. However, you will not be permitted to advertise your group on the boards at all. I hope this information has been helpful. :)
