iowagirl411 Posted August 11, 2006 #51 Share Posted August 11, 2006 Reads like a Cialas ad. What's Cialis? I've heard the name but, my brain is trained to tune out most commercials. Me thinks you are poking fun at me. Especially if it's what I think it is.

caribbean dreams Posted August 11, 2006 #53 Share Posted August 11, 2006 This may be the case on some ships - It has not been the case when we have traveled on the Pride or Spirit. Our balcony light worked the entire cruise. Same here, some ships the balcony lights work all the time, our last cruise on the Valor, the lights worked all the time but last year on the Destiny, they did not work at all. Woohoo....I don't care if there is lighting! I'm just so excited either way! I love the dinner on the balcony idea! :)
texas greeneyes Posted August 11, 2006 #56 Share Posted August 11, 2006 ...it's not in the "what not to bring", so Stew better chill... Leo, At first glance I thought you were telling how to store the vittles you made in the crockpot you brought on board...
vincenzo0506 Posted September 12, 2006 #57 Share Posted September 12, 2006 In case anyone is still reading this...I had cabins 6259 and 6257(starboard aft) on the Legend. The balcony lights worked everynight. I guess we were too far back to have any effect on the bridge. vincenzo:)

The balcony lights worked everynight. I guess we were too far back to have any effect on the bridge. vincenzo:) Now Vincenzo, why would anyone be still hanging around this thread at this late date.... Anyway, I'm just re-visiting this thread to report back that the balcony lights on Legend DO in fact work... ALL TOO WELL! :) My GOD are those things bright! We kept our blinds and door open every night to enjoy the sea air and ocean sounds, and a couple of times our neighbor had his lights on, and we could have practically read books to that light, even from INSIDE our darkened cabin. :D In fact, my lights even worked when we were docked in NY -- I turned them on just to take a pic for CC, but I'm having problems with imageshack right now... Anyway, if you want MODERATE lighting, you're better off letting the light filter out from your cabin. Or bringing your own.
