Atlantis submarine at Cozumel

Anyone who has done this excursion....do you recommend it? Is it over in time to get in some shopping, etc., without being rushed? Thanks!

We did this in the Caymans a while back and enjoyed it, great to do if you don't dive or snorkel.....If they run the same program it takes about 2 hours altogether. Cozumel insider had a link with lots of details re czm sub.

We took the tour of the Atlantis Sub in Cozumel in Feb 05. We loved it. The age range of the four of us was 48-56. I think we went down around 130-140 feet if I remember correctly. It involved a nice boat ride to and from the sub. Based on the port time for the Elation, we had time to shop and lunch before the tour and shop a little after the tour.
