Cost of Repeat Crossings

As you can see in the latest Cunard Brochure (Oct 06-April 08), the cost of being a repeat passenger means only being able to afford less and less expensive cabins.

There we are, being greeted on QE in the Midships Lobby (page 78).

In those days we could afford to dine in the Queens Grill (page 82).

By my next crossing we could only afford Princess Grill (page 84).

There I am, escorting my date, into the Caronia Resturant on our next crossing (page 86).

By our last on QE we were forced to book Mauretania class (page 88).

Just managed to book Britannia class on QV, but my date was forced to re-use the frock she'd worn in Caronia to save money, had to put my arm 'round her again to comfort her, she kept saying "we've come to this?" (page 142)

(I must not study the brochures so much):)

You're obviously a very thoughtful husband - you wife needed exactly the same amount of consoling when you were in the Caronia;)

I must admit that I've got into the habit of keeping one by the side of my chair. If I need some casual reading for half an hour then I'll pick it up and leaf through it.
