HELP...I can't stop the rocking....

Hi...

we just got home (last night) from a week on the Elation...and it was very nice. We had no problem with sea sickness, but both DH and I are having a hard time dealing with the rocking on land. It is just as bad today as it was yesterday, when we got off the ship.

Any suggestions? Will dramamine help?

Thanks...anxiously awaiting your reply...

Karen

I actually learned to enjoy the landside rocking. It freaked me out at first when I discovered it in our first port. It stayed with me for just less then a week after we got back.

I miss it myself.

There have been a few suggestions mentioned, but I can't believe that the most obvious has been left out. Heck, I haven't even left for my first cruise and I think it's pretty obvious-

Get back on another cruise as quickly as you can.

From what I understand, it also acts as a great cure for the post-cruise blues, too.

TAKE BENEDRYL!!! It helps alot, I promise! It's called Mal De Debarquement syndrome, there is info about it on the web if you do a search. It should be gone in 3-4 days.

Didn't any of you notice that the original poster is from SAN JOSE, CA.!!!

That's not "rocking", that's earthquake tremors coming from the San Andreas fault!!!

I can't wait till ships leave from the Port of Las Vegas!!!!

*LMAO*

Thank God ships don't leave from Las Vegas

Two or three days in Vegas pre cruise followed by 7 days on the ship and I would be going home in a box *LOL*

I will be in your sleepy little village in October (CAN"T WAIT)
