bthom70 Posted June 9, 2006 #4 Share Posted June 9, 2006 We made our final payment last week on day 90. We're on the Rhapsody Aug 27-Sep3 cruise. Our cruise is paid for, our airline tickets are paid for, paid $215pp it is now more than $500pp WOW.... Our night before hotel is booked and the 2 one-way car rentals are reserved. Nothing left but to sit back and wait.. And agonize over packing. I've heard the mantra of packing less and less and less. This will be cruise #3, on cruise #2 we packed less and still brought too much. We even had 1 bag of nothing but shoes. This time we're only bringing 3 pair, sneakers, dress shoes and sandals per person. Ever see that retired couple that only bring on a small rolling bag and thats it??? I have no idea how they do it. SJS Posted June 9, 2006 #5 Share Posted June 9, 2006 I'm also one of those "can't wait" until September! We will be making our final payment in a week or two and will be sailing on the Mariner (2nd time). I have other vacations before then too but they don't really count as vacation, only cruises count! lol Last year I think I brought home a whole suitcase full of clean, unworn clothes so I am really determined to pack lighter this year. Who notices if you wear the same shorts several times? And I have done the have to have shoes to match each outfit before too! Oh, the planning and dreaming is fun though, isn't it! :)
