walkie talkies

what kind of walkie talkies should we get and can we have 4 that will work together?:)

 

 

I am not sure what brand we have but you should look for one that has programmable channels including sub-channels. That way you can hook together any number of w/t's as long as they are on the same frequency or channel.

To penetrate more than 1 or 2 decks you will need 7 mile range WT. We have them and have been able to talk from inside a 9 deck cabin to the business desk on 4 deck and the stores, when I was buying something that DW REALLY needed.

We've had our walkie talkies for several years and they only have a 2 or 3 mile range. However, we had no problems getting through from deck 4 to deck 11. I do recommend that you get the ones with sub-channels to give you better options and less likely to have someone else using the same channel. (We have sub-channels on ours.)
