Details please.....some of us were concerned about Tropical Storm Alberto heading towards Tampa just when you all were scheduled to leave. I have been waiting a week for you to get back to see if you sailed on time.......took a different route?? As a first time cruiser i don't mind saying I'm worried about the possibilty of a storm brewing with me hanging off our aft balcony sick as a dog. (actually....just plain scared of sailing with a storm around)

So if you could....just a little info on Sunday the day you left Tampa and the weather!!

Thanks................

The day we left was cloudy and rainy for the most part. We left on time though. Monday more more of the same a little rain and a lot of clouds. We arrived on time at Grand Cayman's which was Tuesday our 1st stop. So from out knowledge we did n ot go a different route. Our stweard said a lot of people thought the seas were rough the 1st day, but I myself and the wife had no problem what so ever sleeping or getting sick from the weather.

Everything from then on was perfect.

We did find it a bit rough the first day, but slept fine that evening. Monday was overcast and a few sprinkles, but the water was much more calm than Sunday. Tuesday through the end of the cruise, the weather was great!

Many poeple had trouble with motion sickness the first day, but I only heard of a few "Queasy" people after that.

As DWH said, we left on time. The only change in the route was after Belize we had to return to Belize due to a medical emergency. However, this did not affect our itinerary at all (most passengers didn't even realize we turned around as it took place in the evening and many were at shows and parties where they didn't hear the announcements).

Great cruise!
