crusing spirit out of ny in november

We will be leaving out of ny on the spirit on november 9th....... I figured the day we leave at 4:00 would be typical new england weather...however, when is it likely that the weather wouild be warm enough for the kids to use the pool?

 

And...if the whole first full day is too cold to swim or even be outside...is there enough things to occupy a 5 and 10 year old inside?

We sailed in March out of NYC and the kids were able to use the pool on the first day at sea. I started out the day in my capris and changed into my shorts mid afternoon. Even if you do run into cooler weather the kids club keeps the kids pretty busy.

It could easily be 35 degrees outside in early November, although mid to high 40's would me more likely. Unless the Spirit has a covered pool (I've never been on her), I doubt you'll be swimming outdoors in November.
