Late October cruise---What do you think?

Recommended Posts

In late October, you must bring warm clothes, and dress in layers.

You may have mild days where you can walk only with long pants and a sweater (even only a t-shirt if you're very lucky) but it may be cold too. Always bring a backpack with you to remove your jacket if you need.

If you have warm clothes, you will enjoy your cruise and sightseeing much more. It maybe rainy but we never know up here.

You may not need everything listed but cold days are likely in late October, here is what I suggest:

- Walking boots would be the best (or walking shoes with heavy socks)

- Long pants (tight jeans are not recommended since they are cold on the skin)

- T-Shirt

- Sweater

- windproof+rainproof jacket (with hood)

- Gloves

- Hat (baseball hat or other type of hat)

Personnally, I would also wear my 2 piece LIFA long underwear because I HATE TO BE COLD and I love my LIFA underwear but they may not be necessary (October is not winter). When I travel, I try to enjoy the cities I'm visiting as much as I can and to do so, I like to have the proper clothing.

Better chance to have mild days in early October. I don't think you will need long underwear but all other piece of clothing I listed should stay on your list. A jacket will be necessary in the morning and at night but in the afternoon, there is a good possibility you won't have to wear it.

Enjoy your cruise!
