Internet cafe and Phone service at ports of call

Can anyone verify that there are internet cafe's and cheap phone services at our ports of call. A friend that has cruised to other ports tells me when they get off the ship there are usually phones at the dock area where you can call the states for like .10 a minute and thats when they check in with home.

We will be doing Western Caribbean cruise on the Sun in December and this sounds to good to be true.

I think that if you go to the "ports of call" boards, you should find information about locations at each port you would be visiting.

Most ports have an internet cafe near the piers.

For example, we were just in Bermuda at King's Wharf. There was an internet cafe only a short walk away from the pier in the local mall. They only charge $5 for 30 minutes on the net.

I have visited cafes in the Grand Caymans, Nassau, and St. Thomas as well. All were a block or two away from the piers.
