QM2 Captain?

And Chris Rynd is a very personable fellow!

He ws Staff Captain on three of our Princess cruises, once on the (old) Pacific Princess, once on Sky Princess, and last time on Royal Princess.

He did conduct the Sunday Church Services in his capacity as Staff Captain, and was quoted in one interview as saying had he not gone to sea, he might well have entered the ministry.

Couldn't agree more! On my crossing on the QE2 he was often out & about the ship chatting to passengers - I also got the impression that he runs a pretty tight ship - longest drills of crew I have ever seen on Cunard.
