6E or Suite (11) on Destiny 1/14/07

Hi ALL,

 

This will be my 1st tme back to carnival in 9 years:eek: I am a RCCL cruiser but I want to give Carnival another try.

 

I have 3 adults & 1 child booked in a 6E staterroom on the Destiny. Has anybody stayed in this room my TA told me this is a family OV. 230 sq Feet.

 

I alway stay in a JS (277sq feet) on RCCL but am looking to save some cash this time around.

 

Should we stay with the 6E or should I go with the mini suite, any help on this would be great! :D

 

Will anybody else be on this sailing? we will have a large group form NY !!!

Carnival Destiny 1/14/2007

i heard that the Destiny will not be stopping in Aruba in Jan..If you wanted that to be one of your stops, i would suggest you look elsewhere.i just got off the Destiny .it was just ok.the ship is old and needs some dry dock time,i think,nothing great..maybe you should look into another carnival ship

I know that the Destiny is 10 years old but does it look that bad?

 

I thought that it was just in Dry dock.

 

Anybody have any thoughts on this should I look into another Carnival Ship, or mabe go back with Rccl?
