tomc Posted June 22, 2006 #1 Share Posted June 22, 2006 A friend of mine will be stopping in Aruba and has an AT&T International calling card. Someone told him they don't work in Aruba. He thinks the person had a domestic card and is mistaken. Anyone have the correct information?
coolone Posted June 25, 2006 #2 Share Posted June 25, 2006 They are right I was in Aruba back in may had a International card and it would not work. They have there own local phone company you will have to buy a card there to call out. Check out some of the Aruba websites they can tell you, how to get a phone card or a cell phone that will work in Aruba.
raven79 Posted July 10, 2006 #3 Share Posted July 10, 2006 That is correct the AT&T phone card does not work in Aruba. The local phone cards are not a good deal either. Contact Charles from Aruba Fast Phones and have your frend rent a phone for the day or a few hours ($10 a day plus minutes). It will be easier then having to deal with the Aruba phone cards and then finding a pay phone where they work (some cards don't work at all the phones...you have to use their special international pahone).
