Snorkeling

New Cruiser need help please. We are going to the Bahamas in July - my kids want to go snorkeling...we can do this either at Coco Cay or in Naussau...recommendations???

 

Coco Cay states available at your leisure - is the snorkeling right off the beach?

 

The other option we re looking at is Rainbow reef snorkeling.

In my opinion, you may want to concider Coco Cay. The water is much calmer and the fish are more plentiful. I have done both, but Coco Cay is one of my favorite snorkel stops. There are very shallow areas for kids too. There is a old plane and a few Cannons you can see while snorkeling in Coco Cay too. IMO, I think your family would enjoy Coco Cay better when it comes to snorkeling.
