world cup final 9 july

Not a crazy footie fan but would like to view the final game 9th July anyone know if the game will be shown on ships? Specifically Splendour leaving from Venice.

I can´t speak for the Splendour but I´ve been on the Brilliance when the world cup started and yes they showed the games onboard.

We just got off the Freedom and they showed the games each day they were on...in Schooners and On Air. They even listed it in the compass, etc.

Just off Explorer last week---showed games and I am sure they will definitely show the final. As one crew member we talked to said, there would be a mutiny by the crew alone (as they are from many different nations) if the games weren't shown. We were able to see the games in the 2 bars plus we were able to see them on our stateroom TVs.

 

I believe Royal Caribbean actually gained rights to air the games so you should be ok.
