afranco21 Posted July 1, 2004 #1 Share Posted July 1, 2004 I wonder if the rooms are desinfected. the reason I ask is because last year I went to a 5 star hotel and when I grabbed the remote control for the TV, I felt something slimy on it.. By the way, I'll be cruising on the Victory 4/10/

INCHARGE Posted July 1, 2004 #6 Share Posted July 1, 2004 I always bring my Lysol with me. The rooms are not sanitized. They are clean, but certainly not sterile. Each room depends on your cabin steward. I have had the good fortune of having great cabin stewards on all but 1 cruise. I was constantly reminding him of certain things. The tip reminded him of his lack of work ethics. Bring lysol if it concerns you also.
