jillba Posted June 30, 2006 #1 Share Posted June 30, 2006 Does anyone know if Celebrity allows infants on board & what the minimum age is? Thank you!
hajekfam Posted June 30, 2006 #2 Share Posted June 30, 2006 I don't know if there is a minimum age for cruising - but the minimum age for the children's program is 3 and the minimum age for in-cabin babysitting is 6 months.
TrinChick Posted June 30, 2006 #3 Share Posted June 30, 2006 I don't know about any minimum age, either, but wanted to let you know that I brought my DD on a Royal Caribbean cruise when she was 10 months old, and we had a great time. They provided a pack-n-play for her to sleep in, and although the cabin got pretty tight (even with the balcony), it worked out fine. Royal Caribbean did have a daily program for infants (and parents), organized through Fisher Price, but we only attended a couple of times because she usually ended up napping during the designated hour. At 10 months, she was too young for their in-room babysitting service, but we wouldn't have opted for that anyhow. We just booked a Celebrity cruise for March with our DD who will be 2 years old when we sail. Yippee! There is a family cruising board on cruise critic, and the people there have lots of great ideas about traveling with small children.
