locking your luggage

Recommended Posts

My daughter recently flew on vacation, and all luggage had to be unlocked when checked in at the airport. She could not use the new locks we had just bought at all. I have always locked our luggage on cruises, but was wondering if that had changed like the airlines? We are driving to the port.

Thank You!

Since you are driving to the port, go ahead and lock your luggage. In fact, the cruiselines recommend it. It is when you are flying that you can run into trouble with the locks. We use the TSA locks now when flying and have had no trouble with them.
