EileenN Posted July 2, 2006 #2 Share Posted July 2, 2006 Several of these stops are tender ports but If not wheelchair dependant, you should be able to do private tours of each of the ports. Our DD is in a wheelchair and we got off in Jamica and took a cab to Jimmy Buffetts, Margarittaville. In Belize we went to shore to shop, it was like a boardwalk setting. In Roatan, we hired the Roatan Cab Co. two ladies who made it a wonderful day to touring and swimming. Check the Ports of Call and you will find out more and can ask questions of those who used the services of private tour companies.
unclepaulie Posted July 2, 2006 #3 Share Posted July 2, 2006 We're going on this cruise over Christmas and we're really looking forward to the itinerary (except for all the tendering). If no one here has any suggestions, you should check out the forums at CC for individual ports, to get a better understanding of what all is involved in some of these excursions. It looks like most of the ones offered through NCL are Level 2 and may be more challenging than you're looking for. Have fun planning & enjoy your cruise!
