first cruise-Caribbean Princess

I am going with my family away on this cruise at Christmas. I am nervous and I wonder if someone could answer some of my questions. How much do we tip each person? We have a penthouse suite and I am wondering if embarkation is different when you have a suite? What time should we get to the port? Also our suite is on the Riviera deck and I am concerned about the noise level from the Lido deck. Any comments would be appreciated.
