Dream staterooms

We are thinking of sailing on the Dream November 4, 2006 and thinking about staterooms on the promenade deck.

Does anyone have any thoughts in regards to noise and amount of foot traffic? We have had promenade cabins on other ships and like being able to be outside on the deck seconds from our cabin.

I wouldn't recommend it. We were on the Dream last year on the Alaska cruise. The promenade deck is very busy with walkers and joggers. We were on deck 6, which was very quiet. We loved the ship. Don't believe all those nasty reviews you read!
