lkmamom Posted July 2, 2004 #1 Share Posted July 2, 2004 I was just reading a post about hanging onto their luggage instead of putting it out the night before disembarkation. Our flight leaves Seattle at 12:40 pm. Does anyone see a real problem with that? Our travel agent thought that it would be just fine. What exactly is the procedure at the airport and customs when leaving Seattle? I know that on our last cruise to Alaska, we disembarked in Van Couver and the airport scene was an absolute nightmare. We swore that we would never do that again. Thanks for any advice that anyone can give. Linda

blmanke Posted July 2, 2004 #3 Share Posted July 2, 2004 We were on the Diamond the time it had problems hitting the pier and dock at Victoria. We got into port at noon and did not get off until 5 p.m. We put our luggage out the night before. Wish we had not. If you keep all your bags you are allowed off the ship first thing...... Hopefully you are not going to arrive "late" on the day you disembark like we were. Those that had kept their luggage were really smiling as they disembarked shortly after we docked....taking their own luggage off!!
wave link Posted July 2, 2004 #4 Share Posted July 2, 2004 We were on the May 22nd sailing and had no problems disembarking. We were off the ship by 9:35 and on the Princess transfer to the airport. We arrived at the airport about 10:00am and our flight didn't leave until 2:00 so we had more time than we needed. Have a great cruise!:)
