carriage ride improved?

cozumel I was looking at a carriage ride around the island for aug of this year. Have the issues been worked out reguarding the conditions for the animals and proper care? If so where would I connect with a ride and how much would it cost for four? we will be on the magic if that helps. thanks for your help.

You can not go around the island in the literal sense. You can go about a mile or so, kind of a sightseeing tour. Personally, I feel so sorry for those horses.
