jet skiing in nassau

anyone know of a place to rent jet skis and maybe snorkel equeipment in nassau?

We rented jetskis on the beach right out behind Atlantis. I didn't see anyone renting snorkel gear there.

There is a public beach (free) right down from Atlantis. They have jet skis, banana boats, parasailing and everything there. Just take a taxi and tell the driver to take you to the Paradise Island Public Beach. They will know. It's beautiful there. We were just there a couple of weeks ago. Bargain with them on the jetski price. We got $50 for 45 mins. They were much higher but it had just rained and the beach was empty.

Is there a min. age for Jet Skiing? I am 16 and have my boating licence (I think only valid in Canada, but anyway), will I be allowed to use them? That beach sounds like a lot of fun.

When we were there you had to be 16 and have a valid driver's license (they did check my daughter's).

My son was 15 at the time we were there and he rented the waverunners.

Thanks, I have my G1 (or as it's called in the US, Learners Permit) drivers licence.
