Anyone do the "Eruption of Flavor" in Kona

We are cruising POH on 9-11 and are thinking about signing up for the Eruption of Flavor excursion in Kona and the Eco-Safari in Hilo...has anyone experienced either one of these. Appreciate any insight!

Do a thread search here, as I'm sure I remember someone reviewing the "Eruption of Flavors" tour. As best I recall, it was a very positive review, too.

 

I think this one involves the vanilla farm people, and they get really good marks from the locals as well. There's been quite an expansion of offerings here since NCL has expanded their presence, and the farm based tours have been some of the best additions. There are excursions to the coffee farms with tastings, to the new chocolate folks, and also the vanilla farm, as well as some other "boutique" farming operations.

We will be on Pride of Aloha this October and are signed up for the Eruption of Flavor excursion. I found a thread this morning from earlier this year about this excursion and the reviews were very positive. I was glad to see it and thought you might be as well.
