Trunk Bay Excursion

We are doing the St. John's Trunk Bay snorkel excursion offered by the cruise line. Do we need to bring our own towels?

I haven't done this particular excursion, but usually you bring the cruise ship towels with you on excursions that need one. I've never been on an excursion that provided towels. The cruiseline encourages you to take their towels with you, just bring em back or you'll be charged for them.

GOOD CHOICE!!!! You will love it here. The snorkeling is very good. There are pylons in the water that show you which fish and coral you are seeing in the area. Its very clean too. When we went back to St Thomas, we tried Megans Bay and we thought it was over rated and we should have gone back to Trunk Bay.

 

We usually bring the towels from the ship. That way, you always get clean ones. : )

You may want to consider taking the ferry from Red Hook and a short taxi ride to Trunk Bay. It's pretty easy to do on your own and may save you some money, not to mention give you more time. Trunk Bay is beautiful! Watch out for the barracuda in the water!!
