Does any one know when there will be any new information on the new ship for PO.

 

I had heard it will start crusing in 2008.

Hi Cazzy,

It depends if you're asking about P&O UK or P&O AUS. Australia's new ship "Pacific Dawn" will be sailing from Sydney in October 2007. There are lots of other threads about her that have been posted here recently, do a quick search and you will find them. Hope that helps you.

The new ship for P&O in the UK is called the Ventura and it should be sailing in 2008. It will be a grand class ship although it won't have that horrible shopping trolley handle on the back of it.

Just heading off any confusion here - Pacific Dawn is actually not a "new" ship - the Regal Princess (built 1991) is being retired from the Princess fleet and being sent to Australia as "Pacific Dawn"

I know it's not a new ship, but it's a new addition to the P&O Australia brand.
