#10 jitney????

The #10 jitney operates on an approximate schedule such that there is regular service in both directions. The jitney won't "come back and get you" but if you go back to the highway where you were dropped off, there will be one along (heading back to downtown) within 30-minutes maximum.

When you get off ask the driver where you should stand to catch the jitney heading back to downtown.

I couldn't locate in searching, for the jittney- where are the end points? It goes as far as this location_______ to ________. I have a rough idea in my head from these posts (THANKS EVERYONE). But I'd appreciate a link to a map or just any further info. Trying to avoid the taxi if possible. Bringing a newbie who'll freak if I'm off a bit and we need to "replan":o and I've never been to the bahamas.

thanks in advance

Most #10 jitneys run from downtown Nassau at George Street to Sandals and the make a turn.

Some may go as far as Compass Point and a bit beyond, but not many, and not often.

Since the jitneys are independent and privately owned, they sometimes divert from the route to pick up friends and family, or turn back if they don't want to waste gas picking up at a "dead" time of day.

You can depend on them going from Downtown to Cable Beach Hotels, beyond that, you'd have to ask the specific driver if he's going any further.
