I will be flying into the airport on Nov. 30th, which I understand is Independence Day. Will I have trouble getting a taxi or trouble with anything else? Thanks a bunch!

Can anybody help me please? We will be arriving on the AOS May 1st. What should we expect to be closed? Do vendors still offer tours? We were hoping to due the 4 x4 island tour and then head to Malibu beach and rum factory. Any info would help. Thank You.

On Bank Holidays such as May 1st, most of Barbados's retail stores are closed for business. All the Tourism orientated establishments i.e. Hotels, Taxi's, Beaches, Bars etc will still be open to serve you. Mainly the shops in Brigetown will be closed so dont plan for any shopping there. Regarding your tours while visiting, I would assume that they should still be up and running but might I suggest you contact your cruiseline and see what they can advise.
