Hey, I've been a lurker for the past 3 months, I've finally joined.

 

I'm going on the Carnival Desntiny Aug 13-20. From San Juan. Sailing to St. Thomas, Dominica, Barbados, and Aruba.

Can anyone provide information on what to expect. Crowds, weather, shore extursions, etc.

Expect crowds, expect weather, and expect that shore excursions will be available if you choose to take advantage of them.

Sarcasm aside, you will get way more information if you do a search for "Destiny Review" read all you can, go to the port forums and read about what people choose to do in each port and why, then if you have a specific question, it will be way easier to ask.

 

For weather, you can go to http://www.accuweather.com and look at "norms" for your ports and dates, but it will be hot, with possible hurricanes!

If you've been lurking for three months then you know that for the best answers you should visit the ports of call boards, the first time cruisers board, the ask a cruise question board and do a search for review of your ship. After that it's just a matter of having fun!
