Query--Belize excursions

Jeanie and I are cruising NCL Dream leaving Houston Oct. 14th.

 

1) Does anyone have knowledge of non-ship sponsored tours as an alternative to the Belize City trip?

 

2) What about non-ship tours to Chicken Itza, or at other ports?

Does anyone have knowledge of non-ship sponsored tours as an alternative to the Belize City trip?

 

I'm not quite sure if you want an alternative to a city tour or something else to do. My DW and I visited Belize twice. The last time was on the NCL Sea. On one trip we did a tour of the city through a local vendor operating out of the port facility. The other time we took the water taxi to Caye Caulker for the day. We hung out on the beach and just had a relaxing day. Do a google search for interesting things to do.
