We are two friendly English couples sailing on the Century on September 15th and are looking for another couple to share private shore excursions to Rome & Florence

Forgot to ask - can anyone recommend the best private tours to take from the ports of Civitavecchia to Rome & Livorno to Florence? Taking into consideration comfort & reliabilty, great itinerary with informative, friendly guides, plus a realistic cost.

Have you checked to see if there is a Roll Call for your cruise. That's the best way to find others to share excursions. The Europe forum has a lot of info about private shore excursions. I'd be happy to share the ones we used if you email me...need to check my notes since it was last fall
