I was looking at NCL Napali Explorer trip, but i was wondering if this was on a Catamaran or on a Zodiac inflatable boat?

Has anyone ever done this trip?

Or any other companies that do Napali would be great

Thanks

Austin

i did this.

It's a very large zodiac (48'), partially covered with canopy, padded seats.

Amazing to see napali coast up close, with sea caves and waterfalls and lush valleys. We saw monk seals and dolphins.

The snorkeling isn't especially good.

You might also consider a helicopter tour

I agree with MikeKaye on this one. The snorkeling was poor but seeing Na Pali up close was awesome. It is a very wet and bumpy ride on a large Zodiac with a rigid hull. We saw at least 15 turtles up close and two large pods of dolphins, plus a monk seal sleeping on the beach from a distance. It's a pricey shore excursion but it was lots of fun.
