Rare sonomaphil Posted August 2, 2006 #2 Share Posted August 2, 2006 I second that! Is there any kind of dictionary here? I think I got a few. DH? Dear Husband? Anyone?
Toto2Kansas Posted August 2, 2006 #3 Share Posted August 2, 2006 If you are asking about FCC's? Those are FUTURE CRUISE CREDITS. DH refers to Dear Husband, Darling husband, or that other word I can't type here for some. ROFL (which means Rolling on the floor laughing)

GloriaF Posted August 3, 2006 #8 Share Posted August 3, 2006 I had (and still have at times) the same problem with the abbreviations. Here are a few of the ones used most often: LOL = laughing out loud ROFL = rolling on the floor laughing IMO/IM(H)O = in my (humble) opinion BTW = by the way The ships also have abbreviations. Some make sense, others don't. There have been lists printed on this board, but I don't remember them. I do know that CB = Caribbean Princess because CP was taken for a different ship. jcrandle Posted August 3, 2006 #9 Share Posted August 3, 2006 FCD referrs to the Food Control Device, which is used by some cruisers to limit the weight gain during cruising. It comes in several flavors, ranging from the more invasive (bypass surgery or belly band) to the less invasive (having your jaws wired shut, or your spouse slapping your hand when you reach for the second roll). :D
