Does the tender go back and forth all day?

If you are tendering in Cozumel, does the tender run back and forth all day for those who need to go back to the ship before departure? We would like to do some shopping first thing in the a.m. and then go to Playa Uvas, but do not want to have to haul our purchases to the beach with us. Would we be able to go back to the ship and drop everything off and then go back to the beach--relatively quickly? I would appreciate hearing about any of your experiences and how you handled shopping and going to the beach, etc. Only 99 days to go!!!!!

Thank you Solita! You are always so helpful to everyone!

You are most welcome! I actually got stuck on a ship last week for almost 1.5 hours waited to get on the last tender...long story and a funny one at that. I had to run down I-95 a couple of times but made it on a tender and back to the pier ok.
