Yes, he pays adult price, and can gamble in the Casino as well... he will have to wait 3 years to get that rum in his coke...
Scoutcat Posted August 8, 2006 #3 Share Posted August 8, 2006 I am fairly sure that the age limit for the child's soda card is 12. 13 and up pay adult price. That said, the best way to figure out if the card is worth it is to know how much soda someone is really going to consume on a daily basis. My teenaged twins are not big soda drinkers. We figured that they would have had to drink at least 3 or 4 a day to make it worthwhile. I think that they might have had 3 or 4 the entire week. A kid who lives on the stuff will definitely get a better deal using the card. There are so many non-carbonated unlimited freebies between the Lido buffet area and the dining rooms that my kids were just fine without it. sotadragon Posted August 9, 2006 #8 Share Posted August 9, 2006 Cool! :D Thank you! Can you order them on Carnival's website or do you have to call them or can you get them once you're aboard the ship? Thanks! :)
wmsherwood Posted August 9, 2006 #9 Share Posted August 9, 2006 You get them from any bar (or they'll have a table set up near the lido deck buffet when you get on) on the ship. We generally get on (early) go by our cabin and hopefully drop off our bags. Then, go towards the lido deck for lunch. We'll stop at the first bar that's open (unless there aren't many people on, then the desk/table they set up on the lido is fine), and sign up for the card (it goes on the S&S card) and get our cards-- then we get our first soda with the cards and head to lunch with soda's in hand -- find a table, put down the soda, get some lunch and watch the folks and supplies come on board! Enjoy! bill
