My "free cruise" is also Hawaii (Summit Dec 2006)in place of Alaska, I had an E Mail list of 7 cruises from which to chose my "free cruise".

Hawaii is 14 days not 10 days as would have been in Alaska

I was told that all the inside cabins on Summit were sold out, that I would be in a Cat 6 cabin (outside). A new TA called Celebrity and found out that they would not be charging me the extra $500 for the extra days or higher grade cabin. ($800+ instead of $1300)

I will of course be paying for the Taxes/Air/Hotel and the new TA was told by Celebrity that this money was not required until the "final payment" date for that cruise.

I was taking the Alaska trip as the first half of a 25 day B2B, and must confess that I prefer the Hawaii triip, chiefly because it has a total of 8 sea days.
