TravelMom66 Posted August 11, 2006 #1 Share Posted August 11, 2006 This is our first cruise! My 12 year old wants to know how busy she will be? Are the programs lots of fun? Can she participate in the work out programs. We are hoping she will make lots of friends and will be busy the whole cruise!
betanden Posted August 11, 2006 #2 Share Posted August 11, 2006 Hi! My son who is 12 was curious as well. What I did was do a search for camp carnival and found that someone had posted the schedule of events for the different ages so he got an idea of what to expect. We have not gone on our cruise yet but he got excited about the cruise and stopped worring about what he would be able to do. So anyway if you do a search you should be able to find what you are looking for. Good Luck!! and have a Great Cruise and don't worry she will have plenty to do and will have a great time. :)
Wennfred Posted August 11, 2006 #3 Share Posted August 11, 2006 This is a copy of the Camp Carnival Capers from the Valor, its usually the same program, this will give you an idea. Ages 12 - 14 http://members.cox.net/wennfred4/12-14 Fred
Scoutcat Posted August 11, 2006 #4 Share Posted August 11, 2006 In regard to your question about participating in workout programs, the answer is most likely no. Carnival is not supposed to allow anyone under the age of 16 in the gym facilities....and technically they are supposed to be under adult supervision if under 18.
