Electric car rental

A few years ago when we were in Key West there were several electric car rental places. Can anyone tell me the closest one to where the ships dock? The other problem is we get in at 4:00 and understand most close around then. I was going to rent a couple of them to tour around the area.

 

Any help on this?

Don't worry there will be several with cars there to greet you. Select the best deal for you and they will carry you back to their lot and assign you one.

 

I haven't had any first-hand experience with the electric cars myself, sorry.

 

The main thing to keep in mind is that they require a full-size parking place (which can be very hard to find) just like a regular automobile.
