Early check-in at port of San Diego

I have cruised on the Carnival Pride out of the port of Long Beach 3 times in the past three years. They have early check-in at the Queen Mary from 9 a.m. until I believe noon or 12:30, which really saves a lot of time. And the early check-in at the Queen Mary is not widely advertised.

In October I will be sailing on the Carnival Spirit out of the port of San Diego. Is there early check-in available at that location? If so, any information about it would be most appreciated.

Thanks.

We have cruised out of San Diego twice and there was no early check in. We always show up around 10 am (we weren't the 1st there either) and it was still busy with passengers still getting off. We had to wait in line with our luggage until the porters were free to take them then went inside.
