justme_123 Posted July 7, 2004 #1 Share Posted July 7, 2004 We are considering renting a car for the day in Halifax and am just wondering if anyone has done this? If so did you find it worth it, or would the excursions be a better idea? Thanks!
ebark23 Posted July 7, 2004 #2 Share Posted July 7, 2004 You can do mostly everything that the excursions are doing on your own time. I have never rented a car in Halifax but I spent 9 months there and it is easy to get around and find plenty to do. You can basically walk downtown Halifax to the Titanic Museum, The Citadel, etc. because there is a lot to do but you will want a car to go to Peggys Cove and other places. If you have questions about Halifax you can email me at bwcruises@yahoo.com
