second honeymoon Posted August 17, 2006 Author #3 Share Posted August 17, 2006 I was just wondering the same thing... I am starting to think, no one eats in the Caymans!
twinkletoes4445 Posted August 17, 2006 #4 Share Posted August 17, 2006 We ate at Breezes, and really enjoyed it. I posted the menu on one of the threads. I'll see if I can find it. We also ate at Hard Rock, and Rackham's (which are all within walking distance). We ate at many other places, but we had a car. Breezes was one of our favorites. Edited to add this...scroll down, and you'll see Breezes menu and the Hard Rock Menu. :) http://boards.cruisecritic.com/showthread.php?p=7420654#post7420654
krispy1120 Posted August 18, 2006 #5 Share Posted August 18, 2006 We eat at Hard Rock Cafe sometimes and other times we just hit Burger King.
momtorres Posted August 18, 2006 #6 Share Posted August 18, 2006 We ate at Senor Frogs - nothing remarkable - the same as in other locations. One important note - prices will be posted in GC dollars and the tip is often automatically added. Exchange rate makes Grand Cayman a very expensive dining experience. Figure about 20% more than in the US. (in my experience - lunch for 2 with drinks ran about $60)
Skinsdiver Posted August 19, 2006 #7 Share Posted August 19, 2006 We ate at Hammerheads. It's about a 10-15 walk from the tender pier...just get off the dock, and hang a left. It's a great location and the food was good.....fish & chips and burgers and such. The prices weren't bad, if memory serves...
